Research application overview

The investigators of CoLaus | PsyCoLaus welcome collaboration with other research groups. Collaboration helps to improve our knowledge of cardiovascular diseases and mental disorders, in terms of epidemiology, pathophysiology and genetics.

This section is dedicated to researchers who have the intention to collaborate with the CoLaus | PsyCoLaus research team. Guidelines and procedures for scientific projects should be attentively followed to comply with the CoLaus | PsyCoLaus study standards for submitting a research project.

Researchers should pay attention to the fact that currently only variables from the somatic and psychiatric baseline investigations are available. Somatic and psychiatric data from the first follow-up should be available by spring 2013 and spring 2014, respectively. For more detailed information on available data (name of variables with range, mean, etc.), we invite you to consult the 'Variables and coding manuals' subsection.

If you have any questions concerning the submission of a research project you can send an email to
